Embassy Addresses in Dhaka
Emigration vs Immigration
Emigration
The act of leaving your home country (Bangladesh) to live or work in another country. When you depart Bangladesh for Europe, you are emigrating.
Immigration
The act of entering and settling in a new country. When you arrive in a European country to work, you are immigrating into that country.
You are an emigrant from Bangladesh and an immigrant in Europe. The same person, two perspectives -- one from the country you leave, one from the country you enter.
Beware of Fraud
Red Flags to Watch For
- • Agency demanding your passport originals -- legitimate agencies never need to hold your passport.
- • "Guaranteed visa" promises -- no agent, agency, or individual can guarantee a visa approval.
- • No BMET license number displayed at their office or on their documents.
- • Asking for payment without providing an official receipt with company letterhead.
- • Unrealistic salary promises (e.g., EUR 5,000/month for unskilled work is not realistic).
- • Recruitment conducted only via social media with no physical office address.
- • Pressure to decide or pay immediately -- legitimate processes allow you time to verify.
- • Suggesting you travel on a tourist visa for work -- this is illegal and will result in deportation.
- • Verify job offers directly with the employer or embassy before traveling.
- • Report suspicious agents to BMET or call the national helpline 999.
How to Verify an Agency
- 1 Check the BMET website (bfrce.gov.bd) for the official list of licensed recruiting agencies.
- 2 Visit the agency's physical office in person and confirm they have a valid trade license on display.
- 3 Call the BMET helpline (+880-2-9116094) and ask them to confirm the agency's license status.
- 4 Ask for a written contract in both Bangla and English before making any payment.
- 5 Contact the destination country's embassy in Dhaka to verify the employer and job offer.

khansland Euro is not a recruitment agency. We do not recruit, sponsor visas, or arrange employment. AI-powered features (CV builder, translation, auto-apply) carry a small charge that only covers our AI processing costs — we do not profit from it.
