Head of Finance Europe (m/f/d)

As Head of Finance Europe, you are responsible for the financial leadership and operational steering of the European organization. You will act as a key business partner to the European management team while serving as the main interface to the Group and shareholders in the United States.
Aufgaben
Leadership & Organizational Responsibility

Lead the functions Finance/Controlling, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and IT
Manage and develop an international, cross-country team across multiple European locations
Drive talent development and promote a high performance, collaborative culture

Financial Management & Controlling

Oversee and support the monthly financial closings in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
Own the annual budget process and rolling forecast cycles
Prepare and deliver regular management and financial reports to shareholders in the US
Work closely with Group Controlling in the US to ensure alignment and transparency

Compliance & External Stakeholders

Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

Processes & Business Performance

Continuously optimize and further develop financial and operational processes
Advance and professionalize sales controlling to support commercial decision making
Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources, providing financial insights to support growth and efficiency

Qualifikation

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Several years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within an international environment
Strong knowledge of HGB and US GAAP
Strong knowledge of ERP-systems
Proven experience leading international teams and cross‑functional areas
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in German and English or another European language is an advantage
