Job Description

The Vehicle Networking Engineer will be a key member of the Communication Protocol and Hardware team. The role is responsible for end-to-end networking validation across vehicle lines, covering both data link and physical layer aspects of in-vehicle communication systems.

Vehicle Networking Validation (Vehicle & ECU level)
CAN, CAN FD, LIN
FlexRay
Automotive Ethernet
CANoe Trace Analysis
Network Debugging & Root Cause Analysis
Partial Networking
Network Management
Physical Layer Testing
CAPL / Python (Test Automation)

Tasks

Design and implement communication protocols for vehicle networking systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing hardware components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate hardware interfaces that meet functional safety standards and industry norms.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues in automotive environments, providing innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in communication technologies and embedded systems to propose and integrate cutting-edge innovations.
Document and maintain comprehensive technical specifications and reports, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience with vehicle networking communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or Ethernet
Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware integration
Experience in software development for automotive applications
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
